Elegant 1 Bed Montrose - Venice @ Italian Plaza

Positive: Liked the response time of the owner. Negative: There was a lot of trash along the drive way. I suggest asking the folks who clean the apt pick up that trash so as not to distract from the overall appearance of the property. Otherwise all was good.

The property was so cute and very nice. Newly updated. Easy for 2 people to stay in. Communication with the owner or manager was great.

Overall just needs some attention to detail on bed, bedding, towels, AC and pest control. Place was clean and location w Positive: Property was in a great location! Negative: Apologies for the long details but I hope you take heed. Instructions are a tad difficult at first, it was not made clear to pull all the way up the drive way and look for the second gate. Secondly, the AC unit got very muggy at some point in my weekend even when set on cool. There was a small number of either flies or gnats in the bedroom which was quite unsettling. The bedroom set up was quite nice but after a night or two you stay to realize it’s not quite the best. The bed could be bigger, there’s room for it. There is what I think is a plastic mattress cover and it is so uncomfortable and just the sound alone made me want to tear my teeth out. It is just a very cheap way to go about things and it starts to feel uncomfortable during your nightly rest. The place started to smell a bit after the first day, I think it was likely the AC just not filtering correctly. Lastly, and this is just me putting this here incase the owner actually listens, the decor can be upgraded just a tad. A simple trip to TJ Maxx or homegoods and upscaling the towels, sheets, paintings, will go a long way!!
